Linda
Gilden
remembers the time when she often lamented, "If I
could only get that first publishing credit! I know
my career would just take off!" She would have been
the first to sign up for the Get Published Now!
class.
Linda Gilden knows the tremendous impact and power
of words and loves helping new writers discover the
joy in choosing just the right ones. She is the
author of the Love Notes series (New Hope)
and Mommy Pick-Me-Ups (New Hope) released in
April 2008.
Linda Gilden has written and ghostwritten many
other books and hundreds of articles appearing in
Focus on the Family, Focus on Your Child,
HomeLife, Family Fun, The Lookout, Discipleship
Journal, Writers Digest, and others. She
teaches regularly at national writer's conferences.
Linda leads a writing group and is managing editor
of The Encourager, a monthly magazine of
First Baptist Spartanburg (SC).
Linda's husband is her head cheerleader. Her three
children can often be seen rolling their eyes and
saying, "There she goes again. She's going to write
about this!"
