What is CLASS?
CLASS is an acronym that stands for Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Services.

What does CLASS do?
CLASS is a complete service agency providing resources, training and promotion for Christian speakers, authors and publishers. In short: we launch ministries.

How does CLASS do that?
We have twelve different events a year, one each month.

CLASS offers eight programs a year that focus primarily on developing speaking skills with a secondary on writing: six are the complete CLASSeminar and two, Upper CLASS, are for those speakers who wish to refine their skills and polish their professional image in a hands-on and intimate environment. Upper CLASS is limited to eight people with three staff.

Three conferences a year are held to help a person develop writing skills and get published with a secondary emphasis on speaking. First, the Glorieta Christian Writers Conference is held in the Fall at the beautiful LifeWay Glorieta Christian Conference Center in Glorieta, New Mexico. This writers conference has gained the reputation as one of the premier writers conferences in the country with more than seventy faculty members-made up of Professional Writers, Editors, Agents and other industry professionals-and attracts everyone from novice to multi-published writers from coast-to-coast.

After attending The CLASSeminar and a major writers conference like the Glorieta Christian Writers Conference, those wishing to further their speaking and writing career are encouraged to attend the CLASS Publishing Connections Conference, formerly the Career Coaching Conference, held each Winter in conjunction with the Christian Booksellers Association's Expo. Attendees get a combination of instruction on getting published (not writing skills), private coaching in the area of their greatest need-image, promotional materials, voice or writing-and, pitching their projects to editors. Additionally, Publishing Connections Conference attendees have the opportunity to "walk the floor" of CBA's Expo and gain an invaluable understanding of the overall industry.

Next, Advanced CLASS, formerly the CLASS Reunion, is available. Held each summer just prior to the Christian Booksellers Association's International Convention, Advanced CLASS acts like a matchmaking service between speakers with successful material they are ready to turn into published books and publishers looking for speakers to publish. By the time someone attends Advanced CLASS, it is expected that they already know how to write, that they have an active speaking ministry and have an appropriate professional persona.

Once someone is published (whether or not they are a CLASSeminar Graduate), the CLASS Promotional Service is available to assist them with spreading the word about their book and/or ministry through the Christian broadcast media.

For those speakers, teachers and trainers looking to add time-tested and proven material to their individual areas of expertise, CLASS also offers the Personality Training Workshop once a year. Based on the Littauer's popular program, known as The Personalities, attendees learn specific techniques, answers to the most frequent Personality problems and everything they need to confidently add The Personalities to their menu of speaking/training options.
