Schedule

The Glorieta Christian Writers Conference is structured to provided the perfect balance of education, inspiration and relaxation. Of course, what that blend might be will be different to different people! We offer you a variety of ways to benefit from the conference--and you can pick and choose the sessions and opportunities that are the best for you.

We will open and close each day together with a combination of worship and message. The morning General Sessions will feature a devotional, music and a panel discussion. Panel discussions will include a variety of experts with diverse opinions addressing topics of interest to you. These topics include: all the sides of an issue on writing for magazines, the pros and cons of book publishing, and the importance of marketing, and agents--one topic each day. Each evening, in addition to a time of worship, you will be motivated and inspired by some of our industry's best.

The heart of the Glorieta Christian Writers Conference is the Comprehensive Classes. Choose your specific topic of interest from seven different options. Over the course of the conference, you will receive six hours of hands-on training, coaching and encouragement from one of our Professional Writers.

In addition to the six hours of instruction you will receive from your Comprehensive Class, you can choose from almost 100 different Specific Sessions designed to address a variety of distinct needs for everyone from beginners to pros, from fiction to nonfiction, magazine articles to Bible studies, Internet to marketing--and even business! These Specific Sessions are offered as pre-conference Prologue Sessions, afternoon Workshops, late-night Footnote Sessions, and post-conference Epilogue Sessions. The workshop schedule is subject to change. Be sure to check the complete session descriptions and check back frequently for updates and additions.
