Planting
a Hedge
Is your prayer life all you want it to be?
Developing a personal, meaningful, and effective
prayer life eludes many Christian women. Barbara
will help you learn how your unique personality
affects the way you pray. Essential elements of
prayer, keeping a prayer journal and other useful
prayer tools will be explored. Other prayer topics
include "Quiet Time in a Basket" and "Who's in
Charge???"
Appropriate
for any age group, Barbara will adapt her
presentations on prayer to fit the needs and
interests of your group.
Passing
the Torch
Has life ever felt overwhelming? Help is available!
Barbara shows your women how they can help and
encourage one another to be all God wants them to
be. Women need the unique bond of friendships with
other women. Barbara reveals how the enthusiasm and
fresh insights of younger women and the life
examples and wisdom of women who have lived a
little longer are mutually encouraging. Every woman
has something to share from how to make a pie crust
to how to grow closer to God.
This
is a great presentation for those involved in
mentoring ministries or for your special women's
events and seminars.
Words,
Words, Words
Are your words inspiring and constructive or
negative and discouraging? Words are a great
thermometer of where you are spiritually. This
presentation will help your women master their
words, beginning with their thoughts. Scripture has
some serious admonitions for taming the tongue, but
Barbara will also show you the fun side of this
topic.
Be
Holy! Who, Me?
"Be holy because I am holy." Lev. 11:44 (NIV)
Would you describe yourself as holy? Personal
holiness is not a mysterious concept. Barbara will
demystify holiness with scripture and practical
illustrations as she shows your women how to walk
in a manner pleasing to God.
Footprints
Is it fun and easy or scary and challenging for you
to make friends? God has given women the desire and
ability to form friendships that bless and
encourage, but sometimes we don't know where to
begin. Using scripture, current examples, and
practical tips, Barbara will show you how to build
and maintain friendships that will leave footprints
on your heart.
Becoming
a Beautiful Woman
What is true beauty? Can you possess it? Through
humor, personal examples, and scripture, Barbara
will show you how to incorporate God's standard of
beauty into your attitudes and actions in all
stages of life. She will tailor this presentation
to fit your audience
A
String of Pearls
Do you allow circumstances to mold you into a godly
woman? From obscurity to prominence, Esther's
winsome character was composed of lustrous pearls.
Like the formation of a pearl from an irritation,
she allowed God to work in her difficult
circumstances to produce a string of beautiful
character traits. Barbara shows how you, like
Esther, can exhibit grace under pressure and make
wise choices by allowing God to develop a beautiful
character in you and your children.
