Patsy accepted Christ as her Savior when she was in the 6th grade at Vacation Bible School. As a Christian she shares her faith and her laughter with groups of all ages and all backgrounds. She is a favorite for retreats and special events. As a speaker she thrives on challenges and change. While speaking is her passion, she continues to keep in touch with the business world. Her gift of connecting humor with reality, and of sensing changing business climates, brings a fresh originality to her programs as she lifts up Jesus Christ to her audiences. Among her many experiences, she has been the administrator of a medical clinic for 15 years, led Traffic Safety with Humor (for adult traffic violators) seminars, and taught driver’s education and behind-the-wheel driving to teenagers. She has taught formal speech and drama classes in high school, taught Humor as a Second Language in the University Elderhostel program and Presentations Skills and Public Relations to the California Institute of Public Safety. She enjoys reading, excursions into unexplored territories and people! Patsy brings her own unique stories and humor to the platform for her audiences’ enjoyment and growth. For Christian retreats and special events she tailors her presentation to the topic desired. She is a CLASServices Certified Personality Instructor and has a great passion for topics that help in mending and preserving relationships. She is a popular presenter and travels across the United States at the request of those who have heard her speak. As an author, she has contributed a chapter on humor in Getting Along With Almost Anybody, The Complete Personality Book compiled by Florence Littauer and Marita Littauer. She has stories in the books Chocolates for a Woman’s Soul and Chocolates for a Woman’s Spirit compiled by Kay Allenbaugh. As a woman, Patsy is the mother of 3 children, the grandmother of 12 and the great grandmother of one pretty great boy, Joshua Luke. Several years ago, Patsy’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and in 1998 she moved to Texas to be near her father and to help with the care of her mother. She has since lost both her mother and father but with this background she continues to bring to her audiences the teachings of Scripture, realities of today’s world and … the ability to see life … from a humor perspective! I
am a believer in Jesus Christ as my
Saviour, having asked Him into my heart at
the age of 12 in a little community church
in Dunlap Acres, California. I have found
that having Jesus as Lord of my life is
the most exciting adventure this side of
heaven. I
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of
God, part of the Trinity, who came to
earth through Mary, a virgin. I believe
that He walked and talked and taught that
we might see God. I believe that He was
crucified for my sins, that He was buried
and that He arose again on the third day
conquering death that I might have life.
I
believe that salvation was offered to me
by grace, and that when I accepted His
offer of Salvation, He gave me the gift of
the Holy Spirit and sealed me as one of
His children. I believe that He desires
not only to be my Saviour but also my
Lord. I believe that my life should be a
reflection of His love to all those that I
meet. I believe that He will return soon
and take me and all who are a part of the
family of God to be with Him in
heaven. I
believe that God opens and closes doors of
opportunity for ministry. This gives me
great peace as I wait for His invitation
to be a part of His
